This years tryouts for Warrior Leadership Academy will be held September 17th from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Eastview Rec Center. Contact admin@urbantennis.org for questions and scheduling conflicts. Good luck to all participants!

Description

The Warrior Leadership Academy (WLA) is our tennis and leadership education program for high school and middle school students. Participants must be committed to improving their tennis abilities at weekly drills, and to build the skills needed to become future leaders through off-court workshops and experiences.

Application Process:

● Application deadline for the Warrior Leadership Academy is Sunday, September 10th, at 11:59pm.

● Applicants will be required to attend a tryout on Sunday, September 17th at the Eastview Recreation Center from 9:00am to 11:00am for Middle School, and 11:00am to 1:00pm for High School students.

● Players wishing to try out for the Warrior High Performance Group will be required to attend an evaluation session following directly afterwards on Sunday, September 17th at Eastview Recreation Center from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

● Students accepted into the Warriors program are required to attend a Kick-off Retreat which will be tentatively held sometime Friday, October 13th - Sunday, October 15th. More information will be provided after acceptance into the program.
