2023 Summer SPUT x Bakken Museum Camp

Summary

Thank you for your interest in SPUT's camp partnership with The Bakken Museum! This free Bakken x SPUT STTEM Summer Camp (science, technology, tennis, engineering and math) for ages 8-13 will take place July 31 - August 4 from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday at Eastview Rec Center in Saint Paul, with check-in starting at 8:30 a.m. The Bakken Museum has 20+ years of experience helping kids create a passion for STEM learning. Kids will play tennis and design, build, and demonstrate their very own inventions! Campers will practice creative thinking and problem-solving skills, make magic tricks and play games, while exploring STEM concepts in a fun, engaging environment. Lunch will be provided.

Because of high interest, participants must APPLY for a spot in the SPUT/Bakken STTEM Camp using the the registration/application button above. Spots in the camp are NOT guaranteed. You will be notified by SPUT Program Director Marta Royaal if you have gotten a spot.

9:15am - 10:00am - Creative Problem Solving Challenge

10:00am - 10:15am - Snack

10:15am - 11:00am - Tennis Instruction

11:00am - 12:15pm - Skill Builders & Project Time

12:15pm - 12:45pm - Lunch

12:45pm - 1:30pm - Tennis Instruction

1:30pm - 3:00pm - Project Time

3:00pm - 3:15pm - Break

3:15pm - 3:45pm - Magic Demonstrations

3:45pm - 4:00pm - Clean-up and Check-out
